Jitter
Variation in network latency from packet to packet.
Jitter is a more honest measure of network quality than peak speed. A 100 Mbps connection with 10ms jitter performs worse for cloud gaming than a 25 Mbps connection with 1ms jitter. Wi-Fi, congested cell tower handoffs and bufferbloat all increase jitter.
